Augura — Delete your data
Augura is published on Google Play and the App Store by The Alchemist Code. The app has no sign-up: we never ask for your name or a password. The first time the app talks to our server, it creates an anonymous ID for your installation. Your projections, milestones, steps and letters live on your phone; our server keeps only a few records linked to that anonymous ID.
Delete everything from the app
- Open Augura.
- Go to Settings › Delete all my data.
- Confirm.
The app deletes your data on our server first: your anonymous ID, usage counters, Premium entitlement, purchase-verification record, reports and last-seen date. Only if the server confirms does it then erase everything on your phone: your projections, milestones, steps, check-ins, weekly reviews, letters, settings and your age and AI-consent records. Pending step, review and milestone reminders are cancelled (a pending subscription-renewal reminder is not).
If the server deletion fails, the app tells you and deletes nothing, so your phone and our server stay in sync. Try again once you have a connection.
Uninstalling the app removes everything on the phone, but not the records on our server, so use Delete all my data first if you can.
Nothing to delete for your text: we never store what you write or what the AI answers. To generate an output, our server passes your request to Anthropic (Claude), which deletes it automatically within 30 days (up to 2 years only if its safety systems flag it).
If you no longer have the app
Write to contact@thealchemistcode.org with the subject "Delete my data — Augura".
Because there is no sign-up, we can't link the server records to you without the app. They are deleted automatically: the anonymous ID, usage counters and last-seen date 12 months after the ID was last used; purchase-verification records 12 months after they were last updated; and reports after 24 months at most.
What stays elsewhere
- Backup files and .ics exports you created are wherever you saved or sent them.
- Android backup: if your phone backs up to your Google account, Android may still hold an older device backup; you can delete it in your Google account under Google Drive › Backups.
- Google Play (Android) or Apple (iOS) keep your subscription and purchase history under your account. Deleting your data does not cancel a subscription or undo a purchase. Cancel it in the Google Play Store under Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions, or on iOS under Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions. If you reinstall, Restore purchases links your Premium to a new anonymous ID.
